HAOSI and Zhang Yi Mou Established Joint-Team for Bidding Opening and Closing Ceremonies of 2008 Olympic Games, and Had Achieved Initial Results

The upcoming 29th Olympic Games in Beijing 2008 gains global attentions. Moreover, the Opening Ceremony of Olympic Games can attract even more attentions from all over the world, which is also the focus of our worldwide people, and the significant event that China delivers his country’s brand image to all over the world.
BOCOG formally declared public bidding to global powerful companies and organizations to collect blueprints of Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games in March 2005.

As the most internationalized large-scale event, planning, execution and management company in China mainland, HAOSI International has made strategies for Opening Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games since long time ago. In 2004, Mr. Ye Xun,  President of HAOSI International Group assumed leadership in person, organized Olympic Group to constantly visit Australia, US, Athens and Greece  to meet companies who have ever planned and executed the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, then viewed Athens Olympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies. In early 2005, Group started intentional negotiations with many world famous originality execution companies, and ultimately in April 2005, HAOSI International and Zhang Yi Mou, J.M.W Company (The creative and production company of 2004 Athens Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies) signed agreement to establish joint-team, and started to create originality for the blueprints of Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games.

HAOSI International specially inaugurated Olympic Working Area for joint-team, and collocated especially relevant office equipments, organized designing personnel, and widely invited creation top experts from home and abroad, such as, Steven Spielberg, Givens (Advisor of International Olympic Committee Opening and Closing Ceremonies), Wang Chao Ge, Fan Yue, working together with elites from HAOSI to co-contribute originalities. In early May, leaders of BOCOG visited HAOSI company, and heard the General Director Zhang Yi Mou’s briefing of Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony in rough, Ye Xun’s report about creative task process and highly affirmed joint-team’s work. In early June, primary creative personnel of joint-team went to US to communicate with Steven Spielberg, and modified the plan. Since the end of June, primary creative personnel of joint-team started to plan the blue prints in details, and strengthen highlights, and made modifications to blueprint, 3-D animation performing effect drawing, torch ignition plan, etc. On July 30, the whole series of bid documents (totally 20 series) designed by Mr. Chen Shao Hua (Designer of Symbol of bidding for Olympic Games) Workshop finished bookbinding. On July 31, Mr. Ye Xun, President of HAOSI International ceremoniously handed over the bid documents to BOCOG on behalf of joint-team.

The plans handed over by joint-team were highly praised as "Exceeding Imaginations" by leaders of BOCOG.
In January 2006, leaders of BOCOG came to review HAOSI International again, and heard the modification opinions of originalities by the General Director Zhang Yi Mou, and technical analysis of originality implementation and blueprint narrations about project operation managements of Olympic Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies by President Ye Xun.
In April 2006, BOCOG formally engaged Mr. Zhang Yi Mou as the General Director of Opening Ceremony and Closing Ceremony of 2008 Olympic Games, and Mr. Steven Spielberg as Advisor.
