Grand Opening of 2004 Autumn Canon Distributors Conference On August 31, 2004, Canon Autumn Distributors (Northern Region) Conference with the subject of “Dreaming Image Comes True” was held in Beijing Kerry Center. It is said that over 400 people attended this conference, and all of them are digital consumer goods distributors from the northern region of China. According to the spokesperson of Canon, this conference inherited the thematic spirits of the previous conference - “Strong-strong Collaboration, Win-win integration”, based on which, Canon joined hands with its distributors and after half-year adaptation, Canon is moving steadily on the way of realizing its dream of “Image Culture, All in Canon”. Canon has consolidated its leading position in China’s image industry and created a brand new “Image Lifestyle” of the new digital era.
As the global leading image products provider, Canon has been dedicated itself into this industry for over half a century. Image products with “optics” as the core technology have penetrated into every corner of our life. Canon image products can be seen in the fields of news, sports, politics, and even our daily lives.
Year 2004 is the fourth year of Phase II of Canon Group’s vision of building a “Global Excellent Corporation”. During this phase, Canon accomplished the restructuring of its global organizations, forming the American Area with USA as the center, the European Area with UK and Germany as the center, the Asian Area just established in 2003 with China as the center but excluding Japan, and Japan Headquarters. Meanwhile, the original businesses were also adjusted. From 2003 to 2004, the restructuring of two business groups namely consumer products and office products was also finished. At present, these two business departments in Canon (China) Co., Ltd. are running normally.
Up to now, HAOSI has successfully provided overall event ideation and solutions for the Canon National Distributors Conference (Beijing, Shanghai, Bo’ao).
