Bird’s Nest ‘Turandot’, produced and authorized by Haosi International, lowered its finale curtain at the Taizhong Intercontinental Baseball Stadium in Taiwan after a two-day unprecedented success, An audience of 50,000 was stunned by this modern, multimedia mega-opera, with its cast of over one thousand.
Bird’s Nest ‘Turandot’ is the largest cultural exchange event ever to bridge the Taiwan Straits. Taiwan was Bird’s Nest ‘Turandot’s first stop in a global showcase tour after debuting at Beijing’s Bird’s Nest in October 2009. Haosi International will move the troupe to Europe and will continue to offer the performance via Haosi International-authorized productions.
