Haosi International lights the night sky at the Opening of
     Expo 2010 Shanghai, China

  Sharp at 9:30 p.m., April 30, 2010, a laser beam from the Shanghai Expo Cultural Center to Lu Pu Bridge heralded the opening of a sensational 30-minute light-show featuring lasers, lights, and fireworks, brightening the night sky over Shanghai’s Pujiang, dazzling a live city audience of thousands.

  The three-part laser performance opened with “Lighting the City Lights” in which city lights, in succession, following a moving laser beam pinpointing city-horizon features, were turned on, illuminating the night sky over Shanghai City.

  Shanghai Expo’s “Better City, Better Life” theme followed, with a spectacular jointly-interactive show of laser lights and giant LED screens.?The third and final part of the performance was a creative interpretation of Expo thematic elements and Chinese wisdom working together - “Dance Harmoniously” - a perfect combination of laser, light, fireworks, and fountains, fully embodying the good wishes sent by Expo to its visitors from all over the globe.

  From preliminary concept stages to final rehearsal, this unforgettable laser performance took six months of revision, practice, and painstaking effort by Haosi International’s dedicated team. Employing state-of-the-art, full-color laser equipment, unique concept design working together with fireworks, LED and spectacular visual effects, an unforgettable visual and audible experience was created.

  In the wake of the Beijing Olympics Grand Opening, Shanghai Expo 2010 became a 184-day second major platform for China to showcase its culture and wisdom to the world. Heads of State and dignitaries from 20 countries, and billions of people around the world witnessed, live, and on TV, this spectacular kick-off to Shanghai Expo 2010 - “Better City, Better Life”.
