Haosi International Bird’s Nest ‘Turandot’ closed the curtain on a “perfect” cultural production, as an audience of almost 80,000 witnessed what has been called a great “sensory banquet”.

It took one year’s preparation to gather the Beijing 2008 Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies organizational team together with a remarkable cast of Chinese and international stage actors, who created Bird’s Nest ‘Turandot’ with a clear Made-in-China flavour evocative of the 2008 Olympic success.

At the happy celebrations afterwards, Beijing Vice-Mayor Cai Chao xxx[ Zhao] XXX Ming clearly confirmed his belief that Bird’s Nest ‘Tuandot’ made a profound mark upon the Capital City’s cultural legacy.
